| Recycling Collection Paper, plastic and glass is collected on alternate (every other) Thursdays by Lewes District Council. Items for recycling must be left outside your property in the recepticals provided by Lewes District Council. Items not compliant with the Lewes District Council recycling policy will not be removed by the collection team. Click here for more details. | Recycling Area, King Geroge V Playing Fields, Station Road, Plumpton Green This is the only recycling area in the village and is managed by Lewes District Council. Only paper, plastic bottles and metal cans may be recycled here. Glass, cardboard or any other waste must not be left in this area they should be taken to one of the recycling centres listed below Lewes District Council Mini-Recycling Sites East Sussex County Council Household Recycling Sites (including Lewes) West Sussex County Council Household Recycling Sites (including Burgess Hill) |
